TEDxWilmetteWomen featured eight dynamic speakers at the inaugural TEDxWilmette event held on Saturday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette.
We’re excited to present such a talented group who spoke on a range of topics from the power of art to the idea of radical generosity. Our goal is to bring the community together to spark deep discussion and connection.
Created by TED—the nonprofit organization that launched the now-famous TED Talks— TEDx events are organized independently by local individuals under a free license granted by TED. TEDxWilmetteWomen is being organized by volunteers dedicated to providing a forum where people can engage, exchange ideas, create community and learn something new.
TEDxWilmetteWomen 2019 included a series of eight short, carefully prepared talks on a wide range of subjects that tie into the year’s theme “Bold+Brilliant” ideas worth sharing.
